Lately I realized that I have been eating lotssss of chicken. Every savory meal has some chicken it in. Today was no different. I had my banana and fiber cereal for breakfast earlier than normal because Wednesday has mixer in the morning! The class was tough and I really felt fatigued after! Always a plus! I had an adjustment at the chiropractor and then hung by the pool! I had an appointment at 2 so I grabbed a quick blueberry Chobani with some fiber cereal because it was super quick. After my appointment I made myself this lovely BH low salt chicken wrap. I used a WW tortilla with 3 ounces of chicken, baby spinach, tomato slices, along with some baby carrots. It was delish!
After taking Reilly for a fast paced 30 minute walk around the neighborhood on this b e a u t i f u l summer evening, I made myself some dinner. I ended up with 5 ounces of freshly grilled chicken, steamed carrots and broccoli, and a sliced tomato. I also had a pear for my sweet tooth and a sliver of cantelope. So far so good this week! I’m feeling great!
One last comment before the night is through- I’m thinking of going back to school for nursing. I’ve always wanted to do something in the medical field and each time I enter a doctor’s office or hospital, I begin to yearn for that profession once again. My freshman year I was a bio major and spent so much time studying. After that year was through I wasn’t sure if I was going to make it through the next 3 years of undergrad plus medical school, which is why I switched to teaching. I do enjoy teaching but at the same time I think I may enjoy nursing as well. I’m all over the place, always have been. I hope that I can find my true passion in life and hopefully get my career started. We shall see where I end up!
