WOOO! French Toast!

Today I finally had something else for breakfast other than oatmeal. I made french toast diet style! It was absolutely delicious. I also woke up at noon so I had plenty calories to work with! I used 3 pieces of whole wheat bread that has 40 calories each and used 4 egg whites to make the toast french. Then i sprinkled a little cinnamon onto them when they went into the pan for flavor! I topped them with 1-2 tbsp of sugar-free raspberry jam and 1 cup of strawberries and 1 cup of blueberries! Absolutely fantastic!

Last night’s dinner was a grilled chicken salad with an ounce of feta cheese and lots of veggies! The feta makes the salad so gooddd, it gives it so much flavor, plus I get so many nutrients from all of the veggies. Overall such a delicious dinner!

Lunch!

Yesterday’s lunch was the same as I had all week- Blazing Buffalo Chicken with lettuce and tomato on whole wheat bread with baby carrots! I love it so much that’s why I haven’t changed it up. Next week I might try something else but for 250 calories it’s soo fulfilling especially after a gym workout!

Oatmeal, again!!

Sorry the posts for Friday are so late, I had a very busy day yesterday but I did take pictures of all my food!! So yesterday started off with oatmeal again. I just love having it for breakfast because it warms me up and keeps me full! After breakfast I went to the gym again for 45 minutes of cardio! 4 days this week so far, not bad!

Yummy Salad with Feta and Chicken!

So I made this salad last night but forgot to take a picture as I was putting the last bite into my mouth…but I loved it so much that I decided to make it again. I used romaine lettuce and our fresh yummy tomatoes and then put 1/4 cup feta and 5 ounces chicken! It’s soo delicious! My new obesession is Chobani Greek yogurt! soo good! I tried strawberry the last two days and raspberry today…boy am i in love! sooo good and so much protein! I also tried almond butter today for one of my snacks. I put 1 tbsp on a caramel rice cake and it was outstanding! Can’t wait for my snacks tomorrow!!!

Day 4- Lunch!

Today for lunch I had a delicious turkey sandwich! After the gym, my sister and I ran to Waldbaum’s to buy some turkey for lunch. We decided to get low sodium turkey, but it’s honestly not that much lower. The tomatoes I used were fresh from our garden! My sister grew this huge veggie garden this summer and the veggies are so ripe and delicious! After lunch we went into the pool for an hour or so and I tanned for a bit. I got kinda burnt =/ but I needed a little more color so i’m okay with it!

Today’s breakfast was oatmeal and an apple diced up. I planned on having a banana but it was kinda smushed so I went with the apple. It gave it a little more crunch, which I love! After eating breakfast I went to the gym and had a great workout! And it was a beautiful day outside!

Good morning! Well today starts day 3! I’ve very excited to have finished days 1 and 2…feels like something is starting to be accomplished. I feel so much better eating these healthy foods that are giving me energy and nutrients. Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of my dinner last night because I left my camera at home and ate dinner at my fiancé’s house. I had a can of tuna with a bunch of romaine leaves chopped up and about 1-2 tbsp of dijon mustard. Along with it, I had two cracker flats that have only 16 calories each. I bought onion and garlic ones this time and did not like them at all. The sea salt ones are the best in my opinion. I will post a picture of them when I get home to my camera!

As for breakfast today, I had egg whites with 2 slices of whole wheat bread. The girls had no Pam still and I keep forgetting to bring it so I put some evoo in the pan and then used a paper towel to get rid of most of it and just leave a little on the pan behind. The eggs tasted so weird, idk if it was because of the EVOO or I just wasn’t in the mood, but it was very hard to enjoy them. I ate them anyway because they were good for me. There aren’t many other healthy options here that would keep me full throughout my workout. Tomorrow I will definitely bring something else! Camera is still at home so no pictures until dinner, unless I use my phone, which takes terrible pictures…Anyways lunch is going to be the same sandwich as the last three days with baby carrots! It’s so delicious!

Another delicious blazing buffalo sandwich!

For lunch today I had the same thing as yesterday, except with romaine lettuce! It’s so delicious I could eat those everyday! As for my wedding, I thought I wanted tangerine dresses but I met with a florist yesterday and she said the flowers that I want wouldn’t be in season when we’re getting married, which means they would be super expensive and thats the last thing I wanted to hear…so I decided to go back to the color dresses that I love…purple! I’m not sure what the color is actually called but on one website they called it dahlia but it’s not exactly the same color…I’m going to have to keep searching the internet to see if I can find it! The picture (below) that I found is the same color that I’m looking for. I loveeee the contrast with the yellow, pink, and orange against purple! ahhh i can’t wait for my wedding day!

Day 2: Oatmeal with Banana!

Day two began very well! I had oatmeal with a banana for breakfast because silly me forgot to bring Pam to the house where I babysit again! Sooo I had to do a breakfast similar to my dinner last night but it was really good! I was hoping to get into the pool again today to do some laps but it’s cloudy and nasty out…so maybe the girls will want to go to the gym!
